ViaWell does not allow ingredients known to be harmful, unsafe, or questionable.
Every product is screened to ensure it aligns with our clean-ingredient philosophy.

Banned Ingredients Include:

  • Parabens

  • Phthalates

  • Formaldehyde-releasers

  • Heavy metals

  • PEGs (polyethylene glycols)

  • Triclosan / Triclocarban

  • Mineral oils & petrolatum

  • Microplastics

  • Synthetic fragrance

  • Synthetic dyes (FD&C)

  • Oxybenzone & chemical sunscreen filters

  • BHA/BHT

  • PFAS (“Forever Chemicals”) - Intentionally added PFAS or fluorinated compounds are not allowed.

About “Free From” Labels

Some customers have specific sensitivities or preferences.
Our Free From labels highlight optional exclusions such as:

  • Soy

  • Silicones

  • Sulfates (SLS/SLES)

  • Essential Oils

  • Nut Oils
